Attorney Christine Scofield of Syracuse, NY; ethically deprived

The state of New York provided Christine Ann Scofield with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from Syracuse University Law School.

The 4th Judicial Department found Christine guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Misappropriating (stealing) client funds
  2. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on his trustworthiness
  3. Commingled client funds with her personal funds
  4. Failed to maintain accurate records of client funds
  5. Failed to return funds or other property to clients or third parties
  6. Failed to produce financial records as required by disciplinary rules
The standup comedians sitting on the disciplinary board gave Christine credit in mitigation because she expressed remorse. She stole money from one or more clients; therefore, saying she’s sorry wouldn’t carry any weight with anyone other than this group of buffoons.

Because Attorney Misfits are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else living in the greater Syracuse area, Christine was never criminally charged for stealing (misappropriating) client funds.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the 4th Judicial Department punished Christine by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May 2012) Christine at 506 East Washington Street in Syracuse, New York.
