Attorney Jean Pirzadeh of Denver, CO; ethical troll

The state of Colorado presented Jean A. Abrahamson Pirzadeh with a law license in 2016 after she graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Jean guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain client trust account records
• Failed to assure that office staff comported their conduct in accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct
• Assisted a non-attorney in the illegal practice of law
• Permitted a non-attorney employee to render legal services for another
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Trial court ruled that Jean was liable for a fee awarded to defense counsel
• Trial court disqualified Jean and her partners due to a conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Jean by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 9-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jean.
