Judge Jacqueline Stern of San Diego; incompetent dimwit

The state of Californiaprovided Jaqueline Stern with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from California Western University School of Law.

FYI: California Western School of Law is ranked as the 164th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

Former Gov. Pete Wilson was duped into appointing Timmy as a San Diego Superior Court judge in 1998. Jackie didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater San Diego area. She received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

FYI: Jackie has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough the past thirty-three (33) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater San Diego area was about to offer Jackie a good paying job.

In one matter, Jackie was assigned to preside over a matter involving Pamela Bennett and the Cielo Homeowners Association, Inc., in the amount of $81,307.35.

When the pro se (unrepresented defendant) Bennet failed to appear for trial, Jackie, in her infinite ignorance granted a default judgment to Cielo in the amount of $81,307.3 5.

Subsequently, Ms. Bennett filed a pro se appeal to the Fourth District Court of Appeal which reversed Jackie’s asinine ruling and in doing so made the following statements.

• “Cielo’s argument misses the mark.”
• “It is axiomatic that a court cannot act beyond its authority.”
• “Here, the court did not have authority to strike the answer and enter default.”
• “As such, the fact that Cielo claims to have proven its damages through declaration as a default prove up is not of the moment.”
• “Cielo had to prove its case in trial even in the absence of Bennett. It did not do so.”
• “The judgment therefore must be reversed.”

How embarrassing for the judicial system to have a non-attorney, pro se litigant succeed in appealing a judgment by someone like Judge Stern who is obviously incompetent.  

It goes without saying that Jackie doesn’t much give a damn when she’s overturned (rebuked in truth) by the appellate court since she is well aware that no California judge has ever been tossed off the bench for being an incompetent boob.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Timmy continues to dispense his idea of jurisprudence as a San Diego County Superior Court judge in San Diego, California.
