Attorney Jeffrey Alandt of Traverse City, MI; ethical dwarf

The state of Michigan presented Jeffrey C. Alandt with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Western Michigan University Thomas Cooley School of Law.

FYI: Cooley is ranked as the worst or one of the worst law schools in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools. Proof of such a ranking is the fact that Donald Trump’s former attorney and fixer was none other than convicted felon Michael Cohen.

The Emmet County Hearing Panel #2 found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Committed professional misconduct in his representation of Simple Auto, Inc. and Simple Credit, Inc. pertaining to customers of Simple Auto who had failed to comply with their purchase and credit agreements
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $771.83.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jeff fails to disclose the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website www.alandtlaw.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting his future victim pool.
