Attorney John Maddox of Orem, UT; ethical dwarf

The State of Utah presented John William Maddox with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the Brigham Young (BYU) University School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest involving one or more clients
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Johnny practices his brand of law with John Wm Maddox PC at 218 S. 1180 West in Orem, Utah.
