The state of Connecticut presented Karl David Shehu with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

FYI: Quinnipiac University School of Law is ranked as the 169^th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Karl guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• On at least two occasions, Karl threatened to file a grievance complaint against the person filing the ethics complaint for alleged harassment and defamation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Improperly accepted a financial settlement in lieu of filing ethics charges against an attorney
• Conduct suggests that Karl Respondent is willing
• to claim ethical violations in a frivolous manner to extract a more favorable settlement or that he is willing to turn a blind eye to serious ethical violations in exchange for money
• Karl’s conduct suggests that his personal code of ethics is for sale

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Karl by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
