Attorney Nicholas Caplin of Irvine, CA; drunken convict

The state of California presented Nicholas James Caplin with a law license in 2016 after he graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Nicky guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to driving under the influence (DUI)
• Pled guilty to DUI with an enhancement for excessive blood alcohol concentration and/or refusal to take required blood test

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Nicky by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Nicky fails to disclose the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.lubinphamcaplin.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting his future victim pool.
