Attorney Linda Spevak of Laurel, MD; ethical goblin

The state of Maryland presented Linda S. Spevak with a law license in 1976 after she graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Brenda guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to adequately explain her fee agreement
• Failed to file client’s case in a timely fashion
• Failed to communicate with her client
• Failed to prepare a QDRO for more than 2 years

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Brenda by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Brenda practices at 12404 Mount Pleasant Drive in Laurel, Maryland.
