Attorney Junwei Hou of Gaithersburg, VA; ethical dwarf

The state of Maryland presented Junwei Wayne Hou with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Case Western University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Junwei guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conflict of interest
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to obtain written informed consent to represent husband and wife in divorce action

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Junwei by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
