Attorney Samuel Hamilton of Silver Spring, MD; cheating loser

The state of Maryland presented Samuel Cartenius Hamilton with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Sammy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain adequate client matter records
  • Collected unreasonable fees (cheater)
  • Failed to adequately communicate with his client
  • Failed to safekeep client funds in an attorney trust account
  • Failed to provide any substantive services of value to his clients
  • Failed to provide his client with invoices for fees charged
  • Failed to deposit and maintain his client’s funds in an attorney trust account until earned

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Sammy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Sammy practices at 8601 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland.
