Attorney Benjamin Schneider of Washington, NJ; ethical troll

The state of New Jersey presented Benjamin G. Schneider with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the Seton Hall University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Benny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Involved in improper business transaction with a client
  • Failed to comply with mandatory recordkeeping provisions
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Misconduct involved multiple transactions

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Benny practices his brand of law at 82 Carlton Avenue in Washington, New Jersey.
