Attorney Susan Sauter of Cincinnati, OH; ethical goblin

The state of Ohio presented Susan Marie Sauter with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Law.

The Disciplinary Board found Suzie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct while she was employed as a law clerk for the 1^st District Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.

• Emailed advice to a city solicitor concerning an upcoming appellate panel’s views on the legal definition of “abuse of discretion”

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Suzie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. December 2020), Suzie practices her brand of law at 250 East 5^th Street in Cincinnati, Ohio.
