Attorney Venus Springs of New York City; ethical troll

The state of North Carolina presented Venus Yvette Springs with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Duke University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Venus guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Negative impact on opposing parties due to Venus’ conduct
  • Published discovery material in manner that served no substantial purpose other than to humiliate or embarrass a participant in the judicial process
  • Had a link on her YouTube Page that led to a third party’s posting of a video containing material from a video deposition
  • Continued to maintain YouTube video eleven months after Federal Court ordered her to remove it (Screw you, said Venus!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Carolina State Bar punished Venus by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Venus practices her brand of law with the Springs Law Firm PLLC at 228 Park Avenue South in New York City, North Carolina.
