Attorney Candace Williamson of Grenada, MS; imbecile, repeater

 

The state of Tennessee provided Carla L. Arevalo with a law license in 2010 after she graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Candy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Candy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Candy!)
  • Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act
  • Violated or attempted to violate the rules of professional conduct, knowingly assisted, or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Carla by gifting her with a complimentary censure.  

 

Candy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
  • Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to act with candor towards tribunal
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Violated or attempted to violate the rules of professional conduct, knowingly assisted, or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Candy by gifting her with a complimentary 2-year suspension of her law license.

 

As we speak (ca. December 2020) Candy practices her brand of law at 1500 Gateway Street in Grenada, Mississippi.
