Judge Yolanda Orozco of Los Angeles; incompetent boob

The state of California presented Yolanda Orozco with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Stanford University School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was duped into appointing Yolanda as a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge in 2010. Yolanda did not receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Los Angeles area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Yolanda was assigned to preside over a case wherein a physician whistleblower, Arash Alborzi, an infectious disease specialist claimed an illegal patient referral and kickback scheme involving the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine.

Arash claims that he was retaliated against after voicing concerns that an on-call patient referral system at Verdugo Hills Hospital (“VHH”) operated to benefit doctors who own Concord Hospitalist Group, which has an exclusive provider contract at below-market rates with the hospital.(MetNews staff writer)

Subsequently, in her infinite ignorance, Judge Orozco dismissed the lawsuit without allowing the plaintiff the right to file an amended complaint.

Shortly after Judge Orozco’s dismissal of the lawsuit, Arash filed an appeal with the Division Four Court of Appeal, which led to a reversal of Yolanda’s ignorant ruling. In its reversal, the Court of Appeal stated as follows.

• “We find that the trial court erred, because plaintiffs were not required to exhaust judicial remedies before asserting the causes of action they have alleged here.”
• “The trial court erred in sustaining the entire demurrer [dismissal] for plaintiffs’ failure to exhaust judicial remedies.”
• “Thus we find no support for USC’s contention that plaintiffs were required to bring their claims in a writ of mandate under Code of Civil Procedure section 1085, or that plaintiffs’ claims were susceptible to demurrer because they were not asserted in that form.”

It goes without saying that Yolanda the Boob  doesn’t much give a damn when she’s overturned (rebuked in truth) by the appellate court since she is well aware that no California judge has ever been tossed off the bench for being incompetent.

As we speak (ca. December 2020) Yolanda continues to sit as a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge in Los Angeles, California.
