► Attorney Benjamin Stansberry of Marshalltown, IA; convicted pervert

The state of Iowa presented Benjamin J. Stansberry with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board found Benny guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as an assistant county attorney.

• Stole woman colleague’s undergarments from her home
• Photographed woman’s undergarments for his personal sexual gratification
• Pled guilty to theft and criminal trespass
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Benny practices his brand of law at 26 South 1^st Avenue in Marshalltown, Iowa.
