Attorney Robert Scott of Greensboro, NC; ethical goblin

The state of North Carolina presented Robert Lee Scott with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct

• Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct
• Failed to express remorse
• Previously discipline for engaging in the same or similar conduct
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Collected funds for title insurance client but the funds were not promptly disbursed to the title company, and the final documents necessary to issue the policy were not prepared and sent promptly to the title insurance company

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Bobby gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2020) Bobby practices his brand of law at 4510 Doncaster Drive in Greensboro, North Carolina.
