Attorney Nicholas Zurawskyj of Cape Coral, FL; extortionist

The state of Florida presented Nicholas Joseph Zurawskyj with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Florida International University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Nicky guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Failed to act fairly towards opposing party and opposing counsel
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Improperly obtained protected health information by impersonating opposing party in contested family law matter being handled by his former boss
• Attempted to extort $75,000 from his former boss in exchange for his requesting that the Bar dismiss ethics complaint he filed against his former boss

Rather than wait for the outcome of his disciplinary matter, Nicky took the cowards way out and permanently retired from the practice of law, which was a boon to the residents in the greater Cape Coral area.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Nicki is awaiting a response on his application as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 1619 del Prado Blvd in Cape Coral, Florida.
