Attorney Rose Quinn of Kansas City, KS; serial convicted tax cheat

The state of Kansas presented Rose Quinn with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Rose guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of felony tax charges in the Kansas Federal District Court
  • A federal grand jury returned a nine (9) count indictment against the respondent including seven counts of willful failure to pay employment taxes and two counts of willful failure to pay income taxes
  • Over several years, Rose withheld federal employment taxes from her employees' paychecks, but did not pay over the withheld $238,000 funds to the IRS
  • For two consecutive years, Rose filed individual federal income tax returns, the respondent failed to pay her individual federal income taxes
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Rose by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2020) Rose practices at 1975 North 5th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
