Judge Scott Woldt of Oshkosh, WI; ethical troll

The state of Wisconsin presented Scott Woldt with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Jim Doyle was duped into appointing Scotty as a Winnebago County Circuit Court Judge in 2004. Scotty did not receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Oshkosh area. He received the appointment because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Wisconsin Judicial Commission found Judge Woldt guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Displayed handgun in courtroom, once to a defendant and once to group of school students
• Used profane term for male body part while belittling and raising questions about decisions made by 13-year-old sexual assault survivor
• Called young sexual assault victim “the so-called victim”
• Engaged in serious, repeated, and persistent violations of the Judicial Code of Conduct

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Scotty by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. February 2019), Scotty continues to sit as a Winnebago County Circuit Court Judge in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
