Attorney Brenda Vickers of Bedford, TX; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Brenda Vickers with a law license in 1097 after she graduated from South Texas College of Law.

In late 2010, the State Bar found Brenda guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Failed to safeguard client funds by depositing them in a trust account
  2. Refused to return unearned fees to client (chiseler)
The Bar found that Brenda had retained over $5,000 in unearned fees that she refused to return to her client (victim) after she was fired.

This wasn’t Brenda’s first bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. In 2006 she received a complimentary reprimand from the State bar for her misconduct. In March 2010 the State bar presented her with a four-year fully probated suspension, which means she received absolutely no punishment.

As a consequence of her third bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree, the enthusiastic supporters of Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar punished Brenda by gifting her with a second four-year fully probated suspension. That’ll teach the repeat miscreant, right?

As we speak (ca. May 2012) Danny practices with the Law Office of Vaughn L. Bailey at 2350 Airport Highway in Bedford, Texas which is about 25 miles west of Dallas.
