Judge David Spiro of Toronto, CAN; biased loser

The State of Florida provided Richard Howard with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Toronto School of Law.

The Canadian Judicial Council is investigation multiple complaints against Justice Spiro, a member of the Tax Court for engaging in the following misconduct.

• Sought to influence the hiring process at the University of Toronto’s law school
• Contacted a member of the law school’s fundraising team about the hiring of a director for the International Human Rights Program
• Improperly intervened in law school hiring practice by expressing concern about the universities first choice, Valentina Azarova, over he “Israel/Palestine work”
• Two days after Davey re: hiring of Ms. Azarova, negotiations with her were terminated
• Litigants, lawyers, and the public may not perceive Justice Spiro to be fair on certain issues that may come before him
• Davey’s conduct could put the integrity and impartiality of the Court in jeopardy
• Any party or lawyer appearing before Judge Spiro who is Palestinian, Arab, or Muslim could reasonably fear bias

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Davey by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Canadian Judicial Council.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Davey continues to sit as a Justice on the Tax Court in Toronto, Canada.
