Attorney Nancy Ludwig of Cincinnati, OH; ethical goblin

The State of Ohio provided Nancy Hampton Ludwig with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Law.

The Cincinnati Bar Association found Nancy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Stopped returning client’s messages
  • Failed to follow through in securing dissolution of marriage on client’s behalf
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of dissolution
  • Failed to hold client funds in separate client trust account
  • Failed to maintain written record for each client on whose behalf she held funds
  • Failed decline the representation of Ms. Campbell when she knew that her mental condition would materially impair her ability to represent Ms. Campbell
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Nancy by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Nancy practices her brand of law with Blake Somers LLC at 114 East Eight Street in Cincinnati, Ohio.
