Judge Craig Jones of Rock Springs, WY; incompetent boob

The state of Wyoming provided Craig L. Jones with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Wyoming School of Law.

It should be noted that Gov. Matt Mead was duped into appointing Craig as a Circuit Court judge in 2013. Craig did not receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Sweetwater County area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one mater, the results from the Wyoming State Bar Judicial Advisory Poll in 2020 established that most attorneys polled, did not approve of Craig with 58.6 percent opposing his retention.

The specific findings of the poll are as follows.

• Knowledge of the law: 28.1% somewhat disapprove
• Courteousness and politeness: 42.4% disapprove or strongly disapprove
• Open-mindedness and impartiality in judicial matters: 45 .5% disapprove or strongly disapprove
• Attentiveness to arguments of counsel: 27.3% disapprove or strongly disapprove

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Wyoming Supreme Court punished Nicky by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Craig continues to sit as a Circuit Court of the 3rd Judicial District, Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
