Attorney Cynthia McMullen of Spokane Valley, WA; slacker, loser

The state of Washington presented Cynthia Ellen McMullen with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Cindy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to act with reasonable diligence in ascertaining the potential heirs of an estate
• Failed to provide notice to potential heirs
• Failed to provide the city with prompt and timely information regarding the estate’s probates and a proposal to sell the property to the city
• Simultaneously represented the city while acting as the administrator of the estate’s probates without obtaining informed consent from the city

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Cindy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Cindy practices her brand of law with the McMullen Law Office PS at 4336 South Farr Road in Spokane Valley, Washington.
