Attorney Gerald Cobb of Encino, CA; ethical troll

The state of California presented Gerald Mitchell Cobb with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law.  

The State Bar Court found Gerry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which involved an immigration matter pending before the U.S. Department of Justice.

• Provided ineffective assistance of counsel in immigration
• Ineffective assistance of counsel led to client failing to appear for removal hearing
• Failed to timely respond to ethics complaint (Up yours, said Gerry!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
