Judge Keith Barth of Huachuca City, AZ; ethical troll

The Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Barth guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improperly used his judicial title/status in connection with his campaign for Santa Cruz County Sheriff
• Abused the prestige of his judicial office to advance his personal or economic interests

As one would suspect, this was not Keith’s First bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a compliment reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct, including election-related matters.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Keith continues to sit as a Magistrate Judge for the Huachuca City Magistrate Court in Huachuca City, Arizona.
