Attorney Michael Resnick of Long Valley, NJ; repeat offender

The state of New Jersey presented Michael L. Resnick with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to protect client interests upon termination of representation
  • Engaged in romantic and sexual relationship with client (aka, dual client screwing)
  • Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications with Family Court judge

As one would suspect this was not Mikey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one (1) complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Mikey practices at 62 East Mill Road in Long Valley, New Jersey.
