Attorney Bruce Moore of Eugene, OR; ethical gnome

The state of Oregon presented Bruce C. Moore with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law.  

The Disciplinary Counsel found Bruce guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Represented McKinley’s in borrowing funds from Sterling Furniture Inc. while also represented Sterling at the same time
• Failed to obtain written consent from McKinley’s and Sterling to engage in said dual representation
• Violated his duty to his clients to avoid conflicts of interest
• Acted negligently in determining whether current client conflicts of interest existed and whether his own interests might
• materially affect his representation of the McKinley’s

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Bruce practices with Moore & Associates at 32677 East McKenzie in Eugene, Oregon.
