Attorney Jose Duguay of New Brunswick, CAN; ethical dwarf  

The Law Society of New Brunswick presented Jose Duguay with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Brunswick School of Law.

The New Brunswick Law Society Disciplinary Counsel has alleged that Jose is guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest involving two or more clients
• Violated his professional duty to keep his client’s business confidential
• Used information from his client, ABC, for his own benefit and for XYZ’s benefit
• Entered in a business transaction with his clients, ABC and XYZ without advising the other shareholders of ABC and XYZ to seek independent legal advice for the transaction

All that remains now is to what if any punishment is meted out by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel.
