Attorney Lauren Nowak of Omaha, NE; shoplifting druggie

The state of Nebraska presented Lauren Marie Nowak with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from Creighton University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Lauren guilty of the following misconduct.

• Arrested and charged with one count of shoplifting, class II misdemeanor
• Charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance, a felony
• Pled guilty to attempted possession of a controlled substance
• Violated her oath as an attorney licensed to practice in Nebraska
• Sentenced to one-year probation

FYI: This wasn’t Lauren’s first conviction for shoplifting. She was arrested and convicted in 2017 and the sentencing judge punished her by gifting her with a complimentary $200 fine.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Lauren by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

And lastly, as one would suspect, Lauren and her firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.stillwaterinsurance.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.
