Attorney Thomas Goolsby of Wilmington, NC; slacker, loser

The state of North Carolina presented Thomas Goolsby with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate adequately with his client
• Failed to take steps to protect his client’s interests upon termination of the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Tommy fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.goolsbylaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.  

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Tommy practices with the Goolsby Law Firm PLLC at 212 Walnut Street in Wilmington, North Carolina.
