Attorney Franz Holscher of Washington, NC; ethical ogre

The state of North Carolina presented Franz Holscher with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Campbell University School of Law.

FYI: Campbell University School of Law is ranked as the 166^th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Franz guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Franz represented a minor in a claim related to a bus accident. Franz’s client contended that as a direct result of the accident she could not engage in physical activities.

In response to opposing counsel’s deposition questions, Franz’s client testified that she had not played basketball since the accident and could not engage in physical activities because she had not been released by her doctor.

In response to Franz’s deposition questions, his client again testified that she had not played basketball since the accident. In fact, Franz had coached his client and her teammates in a recreational basketball game after the bus accident.

Franz had the chutzpah to tell the Grievance Committee that he had not remembered that his client played in the basketball game.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Franz by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Franz practices at 320 North Market Street in Washington, North Carolina.
