Attorney Jason Kurland of Uniondale, NY; serial fraudster

The state of California presented Jason M. Kurland with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Hofstra University School of Law.

FYI: Jason laughingly describes himself as “the lottery lawyer.”

620 Newport Center Driving in Newport Beach, California.

Jason has been charged with committing the following crimes.

  • Indicted for scheming to defraud three clients out of their lotto winnings
  • Received hundreds of thousands of dollars in kickbacks to invest lottery winners’ money in businesses deals and entities controlled by three other defendants
  • Jason invested $107 million for three lottery winners, more than $80 million of which was stolen or lost, according to federal prosecutors in Brooklyn
  • Jason and his coconspirators profited handsomely, fueling lavish lifestyles that included flying private jets, taking exotic vacations, buying boats, paying country club dues
  • Jason’s lottery clients paid upfront fees ranging from $75,000 to $200,000, along with monthly fees of $15,000 to $50,000

All that remains now is to see how long it takes before Scottie cops a plea to limit the amount of time, he’ll be spending at the Leavenworth Correctional facility in Leavenworth, Kansas.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Jason practices with Rivkin Radler at 926 RXR Plaza in Uniondale, New York.
