Attorney Mart Marler of Elba, AL; ethical ogre

The state of Alabama presented Mart Wayne Marler with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Faulkner University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Cindy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Illegally prepared legal documents for a title company and its customer while his license was suspended

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Mart by gifting him with a complimentary 26-month suspension of his law license.
