Barrister Alexander Gorst of England; drunken convict

The Law Society presented Alexander James Richard Gorst with a Barristers license in 2012 after he graduated from the University of Bristol School of Law.

The Bar Standards Board found Alex guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him or in the profession
  • Convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Barrister Misfits sitting on the Bar Standards Board punished Alex by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a fine of £500 ($641.00).

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Alex practices with Scarmans Limited at 10 Lower Thames Street in London, United Kingdom.
