Attorney Herbert Sudfeld Jr. of Doylestown, PA; convicted of insider trading

The state of Pennsylvania provided Herbert Karl Sudfeld Jr. with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Herbie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted by a federal jury of Insider Trading
• Convicted by a federal jury of Making False Statements to Authorities
• Sentenced to 3 years + 3 years federal supervision
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Criminal conduct motivated by financial greed
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme punished Herbie by gifting him with a complimentary 4-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Herbie practices at 2005 South Easton Road in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
