Attorney Jon Blaess of Urbandale, IA; convicted reckless use of Firearm

The state of Iowa provided Jon Mark Blaess with a law license in 2017 after he graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted of reckless use of a Firearm
• Misconduct reflected adversely on fitness to practice
• Upon entering Johnny’s home, police officers found amphetamine and associated drug paraphernalia

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Johnny practices with the Blaess Law Office at 8405 Twana Drive in Urbandale, Iowa.
