Attorney Ira Cooke of Hagerstown, MD; slacker, loser

The state of Maryland provided Charles Cooke with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Ira guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed advise his client regarding the likelihood of success of a Motion for Modification of Sentence before the revisory period expired
• Failed to adequately explain the scope of his representation
• to the client.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Ira by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Ira practices at 200 5 Public Square in Hagerstown, Maryland.
