Attorney Luke Romell of Salisbury, MD; ethical gnome

The state of Maryland provided Luke A. Romell with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Ohio State University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Luke guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Without permission of the court, Respondent took possession of a shirt that had been admitted into evidence as one of the State’s exhibits, removed the shirt from the courtroom and instructed his client to try on the shirt
• Conduct delayed court proceedings and prejudiced the orderly administration of the trial

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Luke by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Luke fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.rommelandassociatesllc.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
