Attorney Louis Karp of Parsippany, NJ; ethical ogre

The state of New Jersey presented Louis I. Karp with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Yeshiva University School of Law. Louie also received a license to practice in New York in 1982.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Louie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in gross neglect of client matter
• Failed to turn over client file upon termination
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Louie!)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Louie practices with the Weiner Law Group LLP at 629 Parsippany Road in Parsippany, New Jersey.
