Attorney Deborah Steincolor of Bloomfield, NJ; rubber check aficionado

The state of New Jersey presented Deborah Steincolor with a law license in 1994 after she graduated Widener University School of Law. Debbie also received a license to practice in New York in 1987 and Pennsylvania in 1981.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney found Debbie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with recordkeeping requirements
• Failed supervise nonlawyer assistant who stole more than $3,000 in client funds and more than $30,000 from Debbie personally
• Wrote check on insufficient funds account (rubber)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Debbie by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Debbie practices at 295 Montgomery Street in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
