Attorney Lawrence Pinck of Clifton, NJ; cheating slacker

The state of New Jersey presented Lawrence R. Pinck with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to timely notify 130 clients of the proposed sale of his law practice
  • Failed to assure that the attorney purchasing his law practice published a notice of sale
  • Engaged in a combination of gross neglect
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to return client files upon termination
  • Failed to return unearned fees or costs in 28 client matters (cheater)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2020) Larry practices at 1115 Clifton Avenue in Clifton, New Jersey.
