Solicitor Gerard O’Connor of Waterford, Ireland; ethical goblin

The Law Society of Ireland presented Gerard O’Connor with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Queen’s University School of Law.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Gerry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Gerry!)
  • Failed respond to client calls

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Sean by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As one would suspect, Gerry and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.dobbynmccoy.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Gerry practices with of Dobbyn & McCoy Solicitors at 4/5 Colbeck Street in Waterford, Ireland.
