Solicitor Paul Scully of Dublin, Ireland; ethical ogre

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Paulie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to progress client’s personal injury claim
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Paulie!)
  • Through his conduct, prevented the Society from providing a solution to the complainant’s situation
  • Through his conduct, showed a disregard for the statutory responsibilities of the Society in dealing with complaints
  • Through his conduct, showed a disregard for the Society as the statutory regulatory body of the solicitors’ profession
  • Failed to deliver client’s file to the Law Society for inspection (Up yours, said Paulie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary censure and fined in the amount of €15,000.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Davey practices with PD Scully & Co, Solicitors, 9/11 Inns Court, Winetavern Street in Dublin, Ireland.
