Solicitor Patrick Gillespie of Mayo, Ireland; ethical dwarf

The Law Society provided Kiran P. O’Duffy with a solicitor’s license in 1978 after he graduated from Queen’s University School of Law.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Patty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with several client undertakings
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Patty!)
  • Failed to correspond with the complainant on behalf of the bank, and failed to respond to the letters of the complainant

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary censure and fined in the amount of €15,000.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Patty practices with P. Gillespie and Company, Solicitors, of Bury Street, Ballina in Mayo, Ireland.
