The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Was in serious delay in progressing an action on behalf of his client

Failed to take steps to enter into settlement negotiations when invited to do so by letter a solicitor for one of the defendants

Failed to engage in settlement negotiations despite repeated assurances given to the Society that he would do so

Failed to answer correspondence from the complainant

Failed to inform the solicitors for the defendants that an offer made was not acceptable until three years after the fact

Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)
Failed to provide monthly progress reports on his client’s case, as directed by the Complaints and Client Relations Committee

Obstructed the Law Society by his conduct in carrying out its statutory obligation of investigating complaints (Up yours, said Johnny!)
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure and fined in the amount of €6,000.
