Attorney Paul Silich of Epworth, IA; repeat offender

The state of Iowa presented Paul Arthur Silich with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board found Paulie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Paulie’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected client personal injury matter
  • Neglected client social security disability matter

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Paulie’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to diligently resolve Medicare lien on client’s behalf
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Paulie!)
  • Failed to maintain communication with representatives of a decedent’s estate

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Pauli practices at 631 Baja Drive in Epworth, Iowa.
