Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner
First and foremost I feel compelled to apologize to each and every dedicated Lunatic among us. Please no nasty emails from family members or friends of any members of the Lunatic fringe.
On the morning of April 20, 2012, I overheard Rep. West being interviewed by a couple of conservative radio jocks in Los Angeles.
During the interview, Allen the Loon went off on another of his infamous rants against Obama and his administration by claiming that
some of the required reading material for both was authored by Vladimir Lenin, the Russian Communist who was the leader of the Bolsheviks. The Loon also mentioned other mandatory reading material from other well known communist authors such as Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. If what the Loon said was true, then one could assume that President George Bush required members of his administration to read books by right-wing conservative authors such as Michael Moore and Al Franken.
It’s one thing to disagree with Obama as to his politics, which many do, but it’s not acceptable to go about fabricating total falsehoods no matter who your intended target is.
In truth, I suspect that the Loon acquires most of his material from reading Mad Magazine.
Congrats Allen; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s most beloved Lunatics; you are far too humble.
