Attorney Lori Kieffer-Garrison of Davenport, IA; lying loser

The state of Iowa presented Lori J. Kieffer-Garrison with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board found Lori guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with deadlines in criminal cases in cases before appellate court
• Failure to meet deadlines led to more than twenty notices of default and the imposition of monetary penalties against her
• Failed to timely file application for a client
• Falsely represented to client and to clerk of court that had filed the application

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Lori by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Lori practices at 116 East Sixth Avenue in Davenport, Iowa.
